Sir, regarding prerequisite of ccna( by which you can be successful only, no official touch) I would rather say computer networking basic knowledge of which you are already seems to be aware of such as binary no. system, inter conversion of different no. system. Prior to start you should make an general idea on OSI and TCP/IP LAYERED ARCHITECTURE. The role of different layers working behind information process between two or several nodes and the functionality of network components like router, switch, bridge.hub etc. If you can proceed with this sort of ideas I hope you will be definitely successsful. Best wishes.
