What is the criteria of admission into Stanford for UG course in engineering?

what is the criteria of admission into Stanford for undergraduate course in engineering? Now my son is completing 10th. Do they consider State board's 10 2 (intermediate ) or CBSE 11th and 12th? what should be the minimum percentage. If we want to prepare our son what is SAT score to be?

Dear Ratna, since he is only in the 10th, I recommend you work with a counselor. Ivy Leagues are great profiles + great prep + great luck. Stanford and other US schools consider both State board and CBSE. Admission does not depend only on percentage. It depends on the complete profile of the child.

Hi, Admission in Stanford University is not a piece of cake. Stanford is one of the toughest universities to get admission into in the United States. They will consider state boards as well as CBSE boards. Admission is based on the students performance in class 12th, performance in specific subjects

Your son Can apply in Stanford University after completing his 12th standard.The University accepts CBSE results.He needs to appear for IELTS or TOEFL exam.
