PGP is a post graduate level course and the minimum requirement for this course is a bachelor's degree.
The selection process of all the IIM's is a two-stage process.
The first stage is a shortlist based on your CAT score(CAT or the Common Admission Test is an exam conducted by IIM's every year for admission to various courses. CAT scores are used by all the IIMs, and many non-IIMs as well) and your academic scores(class 10th,12th, under graduation, post graduation, etc.). Selection to PGP conducted by IIM-Ahmedabad is through Combined Aptitude Test (CAT). CAT is a national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by the IIMs. Admission to IIM-Ahmedabad is a two stage process. First stage is based on CAT score. CAT test does not have predefined syllabus. CAT tests candidates in general aptitude including Verbal Ability (English), Quantitative Ability (Mathematics), Logical Reasoning (LR) and Data Interpretation (DI) skills.
