What is the criteria to appear for NET?

Hello,The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are organized for the lectureship in the universities and for junior research fellowship. The candidates are required to fulfill the criteria of the UGC NET eligibility as follows: Educational Qualification: The candidates must have post-graduation degree from the recognized university with more than 55% marks.Age: The age of the candidates must be below 30 years for UGC NET JRF and below 28 years for CSIR NET JRF. Also, there is no age limit for assistant professor posts. The UGC NET exam is organized for 84 subjects and the candidates can apply or their post-graduation subjects or its related subjects only in case, if the subject is not available in the list.
