There is a need for science subjects in the basic qualification and if it is a very good college, they may insist on a good percentage in the qualifying examination.

1)
To pursue B.Sc, one needs to score a minimum of 50% marks in 12th with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) from any recognized board. The admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. The cut off marks varies from year to year.
