India has thousands of colleges which offer BA-English literature. They are under various categories like Government, private and top ranking private universities. The qualification eligibility is 12th standard of schooling. You being foreigner need to apply in a city which is multi-cultured and has good colleges. Accordingly, many metro cities like Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Allahabad & Bhopal would suit you. All these cities would offer you multiple choice for selection of a decent college. My recommendation is that you opt for Amity University, Noida which is a NCR (National capitol region)
