What is the criteria to pursue M.Sc in atmospheric science or oceanography?

Hi, Oceanography is a subject that deals with physical, chemical, biological, geographical and behavioural nature of the ocean. Hence it also includes the study of coastal Areas to make a complete package of expertise study so that the degree holders in this field can handle any type of sensitive issue related to ocean and its impact on the coastal areas. Eligibility: In order to pursue Masters degree in oceanography, the candidate must secure a minimum of 50 % marks in the graduation degree from any recognized university. The graduation should be in Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Agriculture / Fishery Science / Earth Science / Physics / Microbiology / Applied Sciences. However, the eligibility may vary from institute to institute and thus it is advisable for you to go through the institutes course eligibility page before applying. The most prestigious institutes conducting courses in this field are: IIT Madras, Mumbai Institute of Technology, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Annamalai University Karnataka Engineering College.
