What is the criteria to pursue Matte painting?

I have completed HSC.

Dear Deena , Matte Painting can be learned as a part of advanced photo shop , i'm not sure what is your goal of learning matte painting, If you can kindly elaborate little more , exactly what you want to make your career goal , hope i can guide you better.

Well Deena, pursuing Matte Painting is not an issue if you are good at painting. Matte painting can be done on paper or digitally. However, nowadays it is mostly digital. I would suggest Fine Arts for you. If you think you're a creative person and good at drawing you should go for Fine Arts in Painting or Fine Arts in Applied Arts. But make sure you go for UGC or AICTE approved college, which would help you for jobs in future.
