What is the criteria to pursue PHD in HR from UK/US?

I am currently pursuing my MBA in HR last sem in june\'11 from sikkim manipal distance learning. I am also working as a Training manager with a MNC. I would like to pursue a PHD is HR in US/UK. What are my options and can i apply before completing my MBA or its a must that i complete it first before

No, you cannot apply before completing your MBA. You would be required to complete your Masters before you apply for PHD. There are 2 universities in US where you can apply i.e. University of Pittsburgh and Texas A & M University. Both the universities offer a PHD degree in Human Resource Management
