CSIR NET stands for Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, National Eligibility Test. This exam was conducted by CBSE before 2019 but since September 2019, National Test Agency NTA is the convener body. It is also conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December. It is conducted for aspirants pursuing post-graduation or completed their post-graduation in Science stream. This is also an exam determine aspirants' eligibility as a researcher or Assistant professor in college or university level.
