As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. The fees of B.Tech is Rs 98000 per semester and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. In order to take admission in your desired programme, you need to meet the eligibility norms. On inquiring for one of my friend from the counsellors of LPU I came to know that those who have 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. University is taking Remotely Online proctored test from home considering the scenario of COVID-19. LPU NEST serves two purposes I. e eligibility and scholarship. Like many other exams it is also in very simple online nomenclature and will be MCQ format. The subjects for preparing for LPU NEST exam is based on what you have studied in your previous qualification, such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and English. You can find Question Paper Pattern, Sample Question and Syllabus are available on the website which will be very helpful to you. The cut off may vary from 30% to 50% marks depending on the phase you are seeking admission but in order to take admission in Honours, the cut-off is little stringent. Counsellors highlighted that there is separate cut-off for scholarship as LPU floats three slabs of scholarships so in order to get the minimum scholarship, the aspirant must get 60% of the total marks approximately and 80% of the total marks approximately to get the highest slab out of the current slab.
