Hey first I would like to tell why PUMBA is most sought college in Pune. It's because of ROI (fees for a year is around Rs 66000 and average package is Rs 5.75 lakhs). Also the overall development because it is a student driven college. Infrastructure and faculty adds value to this college. The best part is also its location. Its inside Pune University surrounded by greenery all around.
Admission to PUMBA takes place through common procedure DTE. The cut-off for Open category is around 97 percentile and the cutoff for SC is around 92 percentile and for ST around 75 percentile. Similarly cutoff for OMS/AI student comes around 99.4 perc

Thank you for the A2A. Actually Department of Management Sciences PUMBA is a very prestigious institution for MBA especially in Pune and Maharashtra. The main reason behind this is it's ROI, best campus. Likewise the type of people who take admission range the cutoff between 98 to 99.60 percentile. For General category cutoff is always high and for OBC it's slightly on the lighter side by 3 percentile. For SC ST And NT it is variable from 58 percentile to 86 percentile. For physical disable candidate it's between 56 to 60 percentile. Hence PUMBA stands out to be the toughest yet the most trusted option for MBA aspirants. Fees for it's

PUMBA placements are solid—95% placed, average pay around Rs 9–9.4 LPA, and some students (top 10%) land sweet deals up to Rs 15 LPA. And yes, Rs 16 LPA has been the top package. But a heads-up: opportunities in finance or internships can be hit-or-miss depending on your batch. Still, overall it gives a good ROI if you're proactive.”
