What is the cut-off rank for ECE in LPU-NEST?

LPU offers following programme: 1. B.Tech (including Dual Programmes) 2. Integrated B.Tech - M.Tech 3. Integrated B.Tech. - MBA 4. B.Tech (Hons. ) LPUNEST serves two purposes I. e eligibility and scholarship. Like many other exams it is also in very simple online nomenclature and will be MCQ format. The subjects for preparing for LPU NEST exam is based on what you have studied in your previous qualification, such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and English. You can find Question Paper Pattern, Sample Question and Syllabus are available on the website which will be very helpful to you. The parameters on which the cut off will depend includes the number of candidates, the number of vacant seats, marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test cut off of last year. But generally cutoff falls in 30-40% but to take admission in Honours, the cut-off is little stringent. The point is not only to clear it but do it in such a way that you can fetch maximum scholarship. There are three slabs of scholarships ie. 40%, 30% and 20% and you can target it accordingly.

The final decision has to be taken by the university only and a lot depends on the cut off list that keeps varying every year. I would suggest that you appear for LPUNEST. There is no defined rank till date for branch wise selection, though promisingly you are likely to get ECE branch at a score of around 170 out of 400. Also, you can attempt LPU NEST more than once, so there you can rectify your marks for more scholarship (not mandatory though).
