The cutoff for admission to B.Tech is discussed as following:
1 Aktu university offers low cutoff for admission if you are a student of Uttar Pradesh
2 All NITs accept percentile up to 93 percentile
3 All private colleges accepts 75 percentile to 85 percentile for computer Science branch

Depending upon Your JEE score the cutoff for different categories are as follows-
| General (UR) | ~93.2 percentile |
| OBC-NCL | ~79.6 percentile |
| SC | ~44 percentile |
| ST | ~37 percentile |
| EWS | ~81 percentile |
| PwD | ~0.11 percentile |
