    The entry cut-off into a medical college in Bihar through NEET varies between colleges and categories. The general category cut-off for government colleges, such as the Patna Medical College for 2024, is expected to be around 620-640 marks (out of 720), while between 550-600 for OBC/SC/ST.

     For private colleges like Katihar Medical College, it varies and is around 500-550 for general. The figures depend on the seats available and performance of students against such reservation policies during Bihar's BCECEB counseling.
