<p>The cut off for CAT 2025 varies according to institution and category. According to the top IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta, they usually have a cut off between ninety and ninety-nine percentile. For the relatively newer IIMs, they have a lower cut off of eighty-five percentile to ninety-nine. The cut off decision relies on the number of applicants, the difficulty of the exam, and the number of seats available in every business school. Sectional cut offs also come into play in the cut off process, which means an applicant must also score a minimum within the individual academic sections. The other reserved category cut offs were the lowest according to the yearly cut offs like OBC, SC, and ST. Although the cut off will be publicly declared, the main applicants can roughly assume according to other variables when they are releasing their CAT percentiles including the previous percentile from previous years as well as the general expected difficulty level of the overall exam to appear to prescriptive cut-offs.</p>
