    JITS is different from other institutions in the sense that it has differing cutoff marks for the various courses in different categories. The qualifying score of the students ranges from 30000 to 50000 for B.Tech course in Telangana State engineering, Agriculture and medical common entrance test (TS EAMCET). In term of percentage it is about 70-80% for General category and 60-70% for reserved category. Well, M.Tech course has a passing standard of 20000 to 40000 in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering abbreviated as GATE.
