<p>The admission point for students at K.S. Group of Institutions differs from one year to another depending on the course and the category of the student. In KCET the cutoff rank to join K.S. Group of Institution comes under general merit rank of 10,000 to 20,000. For COMEDK students the rank has to be anywhere between 5000 to 10000 depending on the organisation the student belongs to. In terms of marks? itchment the cutoff is between 40 to 50% for KCET students and 60-70% for COMEDK students. For example, in the previous year, the cutoff marks for some of the popular branches were: Computer Science - 42 % Mechanical Engineering – 45 % and Electrical Engineering – 40%.</p>
