    Course and category vise cutoff marks for K.S. Group of Institutions are vary. In 2023 for the B.Tech through KCET, closing rank for CS and Engineering is around 28,065 for the general category students. For mechanical engineering cutoff rank was approximately 173,699. It's not the permanent or all time cutoff. Cuttoff list is vary in each year and different for various courses. Cutoffs are generally depends upon number of vacant seats and number of applicants. Exam difficulty has major impact on cuttoff. For accurate and updated cuttoffs, you should visit the official website of college.

    The admission point for students at K.S. Group of Institutions differs from one year to another depending on the course and the category of the student. In KCET the cutoff rank to join K.S. Group of Institution comes under general merit rank of 10,000 to 20,000. For COMEDK students the rank has to be anywhere between 5000 to 10000 depending on the organisation the student belongs to. In terms of marks? itchment the cutoff is between 40 to 50% for KCET students and 60-70% for COMEDK students. For example, in the previous year, the cutoff marks for some of the popular branches were: Computer Science - 42 % Mechanical Engineering – 45 %
