    The General category admissions cutoff requirements at IIT Dhanbad show yearly variations during the last few academic years. The BTech Computer Science and Engineering program's final cutoff admission rank reached 3846 in 2024 but had been at 3009 in 2022 and 3258 in 2023. The ranking patterns for Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mining Engineering have likewise shown variations including 15145 to 14762 and 7619 to 7567 range, 9601 to 9875 range between 2022 to 2024.
