PGDM is a two year diploma course which is awarded by an institute..........
MBA is a 2 year postgraduate degree in business administration..............
There is no big difference between the two, the thing that matters is the time, if you are employed,PGDM helps you in

In simple words MBA is Degree and PGDM is a diploma and degree always have more value than diploma as you may join doctorate after degree but not after a diploma.
