What is the difference between 4-year and 3-year hotel management course?

Technically 4 year course is offered by AICTE approved Institutes and 3 year by other UGC approved universities. Industry does not differentiate between 3 year and 4 year Program and students start their career at the same level. For higher education abroad, 4 year degree comes handy as they ask for
