    B.Arch in Interior Design concentrates mainly on the overall designing aspects of a building. The focus is on the building's construction. While in B.Des in Interior design, the focus is on the designing of the interior of the building. It primarily is a study about the different techniques that are used to organize as well as decorate the interiors of a building.

    Those who have completed B.Arch can be called architects while those who have completed B.Des are called designers.

    Those who have completed B.Arch in interior design can work in Construction firms, Hotel Industry, Theatres, Town Planning bureaus, and Exhibition Organizing Firm

    Key differences between B.Arch in Interior Design and B. Des in Interior Design:

     1. B.Arch in Interior Design is an engineering course having duration of five years. Candidates who have passed plus two with the subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry can only join this course.

    2. B. Des in Interior Design is a four year course which focuses only on the interior designing of the building. Candidates who have passed Class 12 in any stream can join this course.
