what is the difference between a "diploma" and a "masters" ??? also which is better , a PGDM or an MBA

Hi Ashish,
As correctly said by the other experts there are two types of the courses awarded and these are Diploma courses and Degree program. When opting for a career course, Degree courses from a reputed institute/ recognized University is seen as far more valuable rather than the diploma courses

PGDM is rated as Diploma if u want to do PGDM do it from good college or their will be no use if u are a fresher do full time MBA from any standard college and if u r working then do part time MBA from good college, PGDM syllabus is changing every year unlike as MBA , beware from those who provide

As per academics there are two different stage one is diploma and other is degree. diploma is always rated lower than degree.In case of PGDM And MBA both are treated same way. It means PGDM is lower than MBA in academics. It is very clear in the add of PGDM institute. They are clamming that the PGDM

PGDM is a diploma which is awarded by an institute whereas MBA is a degree
which is awarded by a university. other than this difference, there are many
differences e.g course curriculum, span . MBA is an academic approach whereas
PGDM is a profession approach towards career.
