Law schools are affiliated too the university. They are basically law colleges.

Law schools are colleges which are part of a university, like VIPS in delhi will get you a degree of IP university and university is a wider term, which is a big institute in itself and you get the degree of university with which it is affiliated. Top universities for law in India are: University,
