A Master's degree in Canada is a full academic degree (MSc, MA, MEng, MBA, etc.). The duration of MS in Canada is usually taking 1-2 years with a research component. On the other hand, a PG Diploma is a shorter, more practical programme (usually 1 year) focused on specific skills for immediate employment.
