The main difference between a Nurse and a Midwife is that a Nurse provides care to patients of all ages and with several medical conditions. Meanwhile, a Midwife specializes in providing care to pregnant women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
A Nurse has a wide scope of work in different departments like Oncology, OT, NICU, Emergency care, Pediatrics, etc., but a Midwife can only work in an Obstetrics & Gynecology department.
