What is the difference between accounting and finance?

<p>Hello, Finance and accounting are two halves of the financial book. Accounting is a system for the delivery of financial information. It involves the recording of transactions and preparation of the financial statements, along with financial statement analysis regarding financial health of firms.</p><p>Finance takes the organized information provided by accounting and uses it to help run a company on a daily basis and make long term financing and budgeting decisions.</p>

At a high level, finance is the science of planning the distribution of a business' assets. Accounting is the art of the recording and reporting financial transactions. People tend to group. Finance and Accounting because both functions deal with the administration of a business' assets.
