    Hello!
Aeronautical engineering is the practice of designing and building aircraft, like airplanes and helicopters. Students earning a degree in aeronautical engineering take classes such as:
    Thermodynamics
    Heat Transfer
    Aircraft Structures
    Flight Mechanics
    Aircraft Stability and Control
On the astronautical side of aerospace engineering, professionals design and build units like space shuttles and space stations. In addition to the aeronautical engineering courses listed above, students earning a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering will take astronautical courses like:
    Spacecraft Design
    Introduction to Astronautics
    Fundamentals of JET

Aerospace engineering focuses on designing both aircraft and spacecraft and it is a study of all the space crafts used within and out of the earth's atmosphere while Aeronautical Engineering is the study of aircraft that operates within the earth's atmosphere. Being an alumni I want to share my thoughts on this as my sister has done the same course from LPU itself. Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the skills and knowledge to design, manufacture and maintain spacecrafts, aircrafts, missiles and weapons systems. The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - aeronautical and astrona

Aeronautical engineering deals with the design, study and the flying of the aircrafts within the earth's atmosphere where as aerospace engineering includes the study of both the aircrafts that is being used in as well as out of the earth's atmosphere. Aeronautical engineering is a division of aerospace engineering. LPU offers a B.Tech degree in Aerospace Engineering. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student of lpu to secure a good placement. Every year more than 550 companies visit lpu for recruitment purpose. Companies which recruit from IIT's and Iims also land at lpu for recruitment purpose. Lpu has made p

Dear Mahesh, As of now, as per the trend, CSE is the most sought after branch by the prospective students. LPU is absolutely right option and choice not only for CSE rather all the streams and domains are of supreme stature. CSE is at high demand for nowadays and initiatives taken by LPU for nurturing and moulding the young children in to India's best engineers are really appreciable. Some of the unique features are:
    # 12 centers of excellence set up by industry majors themselves. Even the IITs and NITs are appreciating campus wide facilities in terms of IT. # Online access to research journals, leading company annual reports and busine

  • Hello Mahesh,
Aeronautical engineering is a part of aerospace engineering. They both are equal in importance so that we can't say which is better. Though both appear to be the same, there is a difference.
The two types of aerospace engineers include aeronautical engineers (they work with aircraft that stay within the earth's atmosphere such as aeroplanes and helicopters) and aerospace engineers (they work with the aircraft that operates outside of the earth's atmosphere such as rockets, satellites, and other and spacecraft). A degree in aerospace engineering should cover them both.

    Dear,
Aerospace engineers and mechanical engineers both work on the development and construction of equipment and devices. However, the field of aerospace engineering is more narrow than mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering is a particularly broad field, encompassing work done in a wide variety of industries and serving a multitude of purposes. Many of the same engineering principles apply to both fields, but aerospace engineers tackle aerodynamics and flight mechanics in a way that mechanical engineers typically do not. While aerospace engineers keep their focus on devices related to the aerospace field, mechanical engineers
