    Aerospace Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering are closely related fields that focus on the design, development, and maintenance of aircraft. The primary difference lies in their scope. Aerospace Engineering deals with both aircraft that operate within Earth's atmosphere (aeronautics) and spacecraft that operate beyond it (astronautics). 

    In contrast, Aeronautical Engineering is limited to designing and working on aircraft such as aeroplanes, helicopters, and drones that operate within the Earth's atmosphere.

    Aerospace engineering is the primary field of engineering concerned with the development of aircraft and spacecraft. It has two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. Avionics engineering is similar, but deals with the electrical side of aerospace engineering.
