What is the difference between AIQ and State Quota in BDS admission?

Hyderabad's BDS seats are split between two quotas. 15% of seats go under the All India Quota, and the remaining 85% go under the State Quota. AIQ seats are open to students from any state in India. State Quota seats are mainly reserved for students who meet Telangana's domicile rules.
