What is the difference between Apartment and hostel in LPU? Is Apartment better than hostel rooms in LPU?

Apartment is bigger, more spacious than hostel rooms. In apartment you will get more facilities than hostel. I will suggest you hostel as you can make more friends, take help in projects. You can also discuss important topics with them. Also hostel will be cheaper than apartment. You will get basic facilities in hostel and also food will be good. In Apartment you have to take care of food on your own. Both have their own benefits and disadvantages. There is no limit in apartment. You can do anything. So take decision wisely.

Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. The following facilities are available in Standard hostel rooms and Apartments:- 1. In standard rooms -Air Conditioner/ Air Cooler (as availed), Attached washroom and Geyser in each room and In apartments- Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room 2. Hi, Privacy, budget, location and facilities all play a huge part in the way we choose our accommodation. While each of the different options have their benefits. We should also note that while every Hostel, Apartment is different. Basically, the majority of the time you get what you pay for. LPU Hostels always provide reasonably good value for money. You also have the chance to meet a lot of other international students or students from 29 different states because Hostels are generally well known as being social. LPU residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. Hostel residents are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, mobile charger, shaving set, trimmer, hair straightener and hair dryer. Basic essentials are already provided to students as per seater like table, chair, almera, etc. Apartments can feel like a home away from home when you are stepping outside your comfort zone. Having a homely base to come back to each day makes a huge difference to happiness. Kitchen facilities are given in apartments and allow students to cook with ingredients picked up from local markets. For apartment rooms with pantry, students may also use induction plate for cooking food in addition to gadgets mentioned for hostels. Apartments are costly in comparison to hostels as more facilities are given to apartment holders.

Hello Abhay, The only difference between Hostel and Apartment is of space and fee structure. Apartments are more spacious as compare to hostel rooms and there is also a separate kitchen area and as it is an apartment with some extra facilities so the fee will also be differ. Other than this, if we talk about the security, cleanliness, and other basic amenities all is available in whether its apartment or hostel room. Let me tell you if you will choose the hostel room, the mess food of LPU is amazing and there is tuck shop as well as saloons available here. However, the main decision is of a student like if you want to enjoy a typical hostile life with roommates then you should go for hostel rooms.

Hostel is better as you can make more friends and can take help in group projects and group studies. Hostel room is also cheaper as compare to the apartment ones. Basic facilities like mess, laundry etc. Are available here whereas in apartment you will have to do all on your own. Apartments have more facilities than hostels and the fees for that is also more as compared to hostel.

LPU provides splendid and aristocratic residential facilities to the students so that they can have a healthy environment. Both hostels and apartments have its own stand-alone benefits. It depends on the students comfortability and choice of availing the residential category. Both are good and it can only be distinguishable on the basis of spacious and Fees. LPU has 3 categories : standard rooms, apartments and dormitory. The seats are filled on the basis of first come, first serve basis. For allotment of seater, you have to pay initial payment of 10,000 from your LPU NEST portal by logging admission. Lpu. In, the residential facilities are facilitated for 1 academic session. After scrutinizing, you can avail the preferred residential category according to your interest. Thanks!

Dear Abhay, In apartments, the facility of pantry is available for students whereas in the hostels, mess facility is available for food. Charges of apartments are more than that of hostels. So more or less both are having same facilities.
