An architect can work as an interior designer but an interior designer cannot. Architecture includes both the designing of interior and exterior spaces of a particular area or project. Interior designing includes interior spaces and detailing. B.Arch has interior design as a subject. If you have inclination in detailing interior spaces, you should perceive Bachelors in Interior Designing and if you want both or design as major, you should go for BArch course. There are also Diploma courses in both fields.

Hi,
Architecture is about the structure of a building. It focuses more on the needs of a good and durable structure of a building while interior designing is about the aesthetic appealing of the inner walls and goods and their arrangements. Yes, a part of interior designing will be taught at B.Arch. -
Any and every architecture course has a specialisation in the final years. You could choose interior designing as a specialisation after your 2nd year as well as have knowledge of basic overall architecture. If you solely wish to do interior designing, only then a Bachelor's in interior designing would be a good option.
