What is the difference between audio and sound engineering?

Hello Rashmi,
Sound and audio doesn't have much difference, both are identical. Sound or audio engineering is a profession in which an engineer works upon the mixing up of various sounds, overpower them, refines the audio, removes unnecessary noise, cleaning up etc. One who do this may be called as sound mixer, sound technician, and audio technician. Look, both terms are same and both fields are same too. Sound and audio doesn't have much difference, both are identical. Sound or audio engineering is a profession in which an engineer works upon the mixing up of various sounds, overpower them, refines the audio, removes unnecessary noise, cleaning up etc. One who do this may be called as sound mixer, sound technician, and audio technician.
