Majority of syllabus of BCom(P) and BCom(Hons) is same. BCom(P) gives an overview of various subject where same course in Hons has more depth and content. In BCom(P) you cannot specialise but in Honours degree student can specialise. BCom(Hons) is now a de-facto a standard accepted degree for jobs.
