B.Com programmes can be understood as an overview of all the subjects in the field of course. The major difference is that you can specialize in a specific subject or field through B.Com (Hons) course. The industry demand for the honors programme under B.Com is much higher than the regular programme.

Well, B.Com (Hons) is a specialisation course which covers all the areas of commerce in deep whereas, it does not happen in B.Com professional as it just covers the briefs of the topics. There happens to be a lot more study in honours as compared to programmes and for the same reason there exist more value and demand of B.Com (Hons) graduate than B.Com graduates.

B.Com Hons. is more meaningful and has in-depth study of every subject, and is preferred more in industrial industry. B.Com Professional is like a rough idea of everything of commerce. B.Com H has a slight upper hand among both. Through B.Com, you can become a knowledgeable person about particular subjects and it is helpful in pursuing CA course too. B.Com P is useful only at competing at low levels competition and just showing off that you have a degree that's it. There is really nothing more to it.

Hi, The main difference is depth of subjects. In B.Com regular, all basic subjects related to commerce are taught at a normal length. The difference lies in the fact that you can specialize in a certain subject in B.Com (H), but the B.Com (P) course gives you an overview of all those subjects taught in the honours course. Regards.

B.Com (Hons) has more value than B.Com programme and there are a few subjects which you can take in B.Com (Hons) for more conceptual knowledge.

Similar to B.Com (H), the difference is that a student can specialize certain subjects in B.Com (H), which is not possible in B.Com (P). In the latter, a student is given an overview of all the subjects taught in the honors course. A student has the option to specialize specific subjects like accounting.

I think in B.Com (H) what we study in the first year, that is taught in the second year of B.Com programme course.
