What is the difference between B.Sc and BHM in hotel management and which course will be better?

    B.Sc in hospitality and hotel administration is generally offered by Central govt. IHMs and other institutes affiliated to NCHMCT and is of 3 years duration, while
    BHM is mostly offered by private institutes affiliated to state universities and is of 4 years duration.
    Apart from this, there is no such major difference as both the degrees are equally recognised by industry and for other purposes.
    I'll suggest you to do go for B.Sc in H & HA (Generic) as it will save a year and you'll get the knowledge of all the departments rather than going for a specialization.

    B.Sc. Hotel management is traditional graduation, not a full pledged hotel management course. But BHM is full pledged course and it is specially designed for hotel management. Of course BHM has a better scope as after doing it you can work in service industry, tourism sector and even airlines.
