    Hello Rohan,
The difference between both the degrees is that, after B.Tech IT you are shifted to the company owned by college owners and after pursuing B.Sc IT you are forced to pursue some other degree like MCA, so, as to be able to get shifted in the company owned by college owners.

    Some major differences are:-
1.Course duration B.Sc IT three years whereas B.Tech IT, it is four years.
    2. B.Sc IT is academic degree, B.Tech IT is engineering degree with much professional exposure.
    3. After graduations B.Sc IT can go for M.Sc. IT / MCA in academic or professional domain whereas B.Tech can go for M.Tech.
    4. In terms of job potentials specially in IT domain B.Tech IT is much ahead than B.Sc.IT with better salary package and position in organisation hierarchy.
