There is no difference between the two degrees, at present. Both have the same syllabus and the same type of jobs to offer to you. Also, the companies which recruit you on campus do not discriminate between the two. Ideally, a B.E. course should be teaching you more about the concept applied in engi

There is not any difference now. Curriculum are same. And Job opportunities are also same.

Well, they are exactly same but there is a little difference:
B.E is all about knowledge and B.Tech is all about skills.
BE curriculum consist of 80% theory and 20% practical whereas B.Tech curriculum have 60% theory and 40% practical.

There could be many differences that could be stated but the most important is that the B.Tech course is somewhat more practically intensive than the BE course which is more theoretical.
