What is the difference between B.Tech (civil) and B.Arch?

Hi Anchal, 1) The difference between B.Tech Civil and B.Arch : B.Tech Civil Engineering : -4 year course -B.Tech in civil engineering deals with the tactics of construction of the existing design. -Civil Engineers focus in the practicality of a building’s design. -Civil Engineering is basically oriented towards building infrastructure. B.Arch (Architectural Engineering ) -5 year course -B.Arch is a course is more into the design, layout and exterior appearance of a building. -Architectures imagine the design of the building. -B. Architecture course focuses on the how to design and making layouts. 2) Next, to choose the best out of the two, it all depends on your interest and personal attributes. But, if you are immensely interested in creative work, designing, renovating, etc then you may opt for Architecture otherwise Civil Engineering will be a good option.
