Dear Kunal,
BTech is a 4 years course while B.Sc is a 3 years course. In B. Tech Biotechnology you will learn about other branches of engineering also in your first year whereas in B.Sc biotechnology you will directly learn about your core subjects. My friend did BTech in Biotechnology from LPU and

The major difference between any B. Sc degree and B. Tech degree is the fact that admission to B. Tech is a professional engineering degree and only approved engineering institutes are authorized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (India) (UGC)
