What is the difference between B.Tech in CSE and B.Tech in IT?

    There's actually a difference and that's why they are two different streams.
    In computer engineering, you're taught about the computer hardware as well as software fundamentals.
    Whereas in information technology, the focus is more on software development. and less on hardware.
    In IT, there are subjects which teach you practical software development. Whereas in CS, subjects are more theoretical.

    Hey Dip,
    There is no difference between both. Universities offering other courses along with technical name it as B.E. Otherwise it is named as B.Tech. Anna university offers engineering programs. Also some other universities offering engineering and have the best placements.
