    The syllabus of B.Tech computer Science and engineering (CSE) and IT overlaps between 80 to 90% in various universities. CSE is the study of computers and computational systems. Computer scientists deal mostly with software and software systems; this includes their theory, design, development and application. IT engineering is application of CS for enterprises to meet business goals. CS graduates can easily do both application and systems development whereas as IT engineers are trained to work on application development.
