Hi Akansha,
There is not much difference between BA and BA (Hons.). In BA (Hons.), you are going to give more importance to one subject. Here, that subject is chosen by you. But in BA every subject is important to pass graduation.
The subjects of both BA and BA (Hons.) are almost same.

There isn't much difference between BA and BA (Hons) degree in India, you can opt for either of them.
You can opt for BA in public policy and public administration from UPES. They also conduct classes for the preparation of IAS exam. You can get benefitted by opting a course with such combination.

Hi,
In India, both degrees are of three years. Only difference is, in Honors degree, last year have dissertation or research work.
Honors is more research oriented.
