What is the difference between BA (honours) in economics and B.Sc in economics? Which one should be preferred?

BA (Hons) in economics and B.Sc (Hons) economics degrees are not very different. In Delhi, Economics is considered as a BA programme. In Kolkata, any honours stream which has Maths as a compulsorily subject is considered for B.Sc.
