What is the difference between BA+LLB and BA+LLB (Hons) degree? Which is the best course for further studies in the field of law?

    Hi,
    BA LLB (Hons) course will be required to study more papers than a general BA LLB degree and having honours will be a plus point if you're willing to study LLM or Ph.D.

    Dear Zainullah, Both the degrees are good and equivalent in the field of law. Moreover, both have equal weightage for government as well as private jobs. My friend did B.A. LL.B. From LPU and now he is working in the Chandigarh and Haryana High Court. He did his internship as well at this court. LPU is ranked 24th among all public and private universities/colleges for the law programmes by NIRF ranking 2021. LPUs School of Law is approved by the Bar Council of India.     Honours are always given preference in terms of jobs and placements. In the honours programme, more practical learning is there and more subjects are to be studied.
