What is the difference between Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts?

7 years agoArts are those subjects which are NON Science and Engineering-means no Machine or technology based title. Humanities, Social Sciences are part of a degree that falls in Humanities and Arts. Science on the other hand is Science. Bachelor stands for a graduation degree. -
Bachelor of Arts course are considered as the Post HSc /12th Std, studies in Social Science(History ,Sociology), Geography, Economics(Theoretical), humanities, Civics,Political Science,Languages, Music, Drama, Literature etc.
Bachelor of Science are the studies after HSc , in science subjects like Pure Science(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) ,Biological Sciences (Zoology,Botany, Bio Technology,Micro-Biology,Bio Chemistry etc.) and Applied Science (Computer Science, Computer Applications, Electronics ) etc.
Some Degrees , For examples in Psychology, Economics, Accountancy are offered as Both BSc and BA degree programs. Depends on type of...more
