BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the technical level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). It depends upon your interest. After BCA for a better career one should for MCA also but in case of B.Tech. You can immediately look forward to the jobs in the industry. BCA is a 3 year degree course. B.Tech is a 4 year degree course. B.Tech has many branches, two of them are CSE and IT. In CSE, you'll learn about hardwares and software related to computers. In IT, you'll mainly learn software. In BCA also you'll learn 3-4 programming languages, which can be used for creating software. BCA will b more into programming and coding, B.Tech more into development. All the courses have their own potential. But the companies tend to hire candidates with B.Tech degree than BCA degree. If you are eligible for B.Tech, then you should definitely take admission into B.Tech, and if not, then BCA is also a good cour

    Hello,
BCA degree is a 3 year course whereas B.Tech is a 4 year degree course. You will have to do 3 years MCA to be equated equal to B.Tech CSE after BCA. Both MCA and B.Tech CSE degrees are equally good. For BCA MCA degrees you will take additional two years before you get a good job. B.Tech CSE graduates have a minor edge over MCA graduates. CSE graduates get both Apps and System development job. Indian IT industry give only Apps development job to MCA graduates. B.Tech CSE graduates may also get 10 to 15 % better CTC if they are from reputed Engineering colleges. In view of above, I will recommend that you go for B.Tech CSE.

    Hi
BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). Whereas for BCA students need to have secured good grades in any of the Arts/Science or Commerce streams. If you browse to check the efficiency scale you can land with a good college:

    2. Accreditation.
    3. Faculty is not only experienced but is updated
    4. Industry immersion
    5. Labs are well-equipped with the latest technology

Information Technology (IT) as an academic discipline which mostly deals with industry-oriented learning whereas Computer Science CS is more research-oriented. You may say that, Computer Scientists design tools and Information Technology professionals apply these tools
It would be a good choice to opt for LPU as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to

The technical differences in both are: CS takes a more balanced approach between theory and application while IT focuses more on application. CS offers you an opportunity to learn variety of topics related to computers while IT offers you an opportunity to discovers innovative uses of those fundamental concepts. CS generally require a decent background in math while use of math in IT is limited to data analysis / processing / statistics, etc. You may call IT as one of the sub-divisions of CS however there are certain things that are unique to IT like integrated programming, system administrations, maintenance, etc. There are some simil

You can't pursue GATE if you have degree in Information Technology. But CSE Bachelors can pursue GATE. It is absolutely a right reason as I say.

Hi, both are good courses to do, but I'll suggest you to go for B.Tech, as B.Tech has more value than BCA. And you can do MBA.
