What is the difference between BCA and B.Tech or computer science engineering and information technology?

BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the technical level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). It depends upon your interest. BCA degree is a 3 year course whereas B.Tech is a 4 year degree course. You will have to do 3 years MCA to be equated equal to B.Tech CSE after BCA. Both MCA and B.Tech CSE degrees are equally good. For BCA MCA degrees you will take additional two years before you get a good job. B.Tech CSE

You can't pursue GATE if you have degree in Information Technology. But CSE Bachelors can pursue GATE. It is absolutely a right reason as I say.

Hi, both are good courses to do, but I'll suggest you to go for B.Tech, as B.Tech has more value than BCA. And you can do MBA.
