What is the difference between BE and B.Tech?

There is no such big difference between both. Its just this B.Tech is Skill oriented and BE knowledge oriented.
But both of them are similar having equal scope and future in terms of course curriculum, standards and job prospects. Your performance and your knowledge is what matters.

The main difference is the degree granting institute. Universities award the BE while institutions such as IIT that is institutions for engineering degrees award the B.Tech degree. BE is supposedly more theoretical while B.Tech emphasize more in technology and practical orientation. Ther
