What is the difference between BE and B.Tech?

There is no technical difference between b.e and b.tech. Its only the nomenclature which differs. The age old universities mostly awards B.E. to the student who completed graduation in engineering whereas B.Tech is awarded by the comparatively new institutions and universities.
