There is no technical difference between b.e and b.tech. Its only the nomenclature which differs. The age old universities mostly awards B.E. to the student who completed graduation in engineering whereas B.Tech is awarded by the comparatively new institutions and universities. Both have equal value in market. Try to get a good college and dont decide on basis of their degree name. All the best. Thank you.

B.Tech is Skill oriented and BE knowledge oriented- this is the major difference between them. But at present no degree, BE or B.Tech is superior to the other. Both of them are similar having equal scope and future in terms of course curriculum, standards and job prospects. Your performance and your knowledge is what matters.
