A major difference between BE and B.Tech is practical knowledge. Means, in BE you have to write your practicals, and then do as in schools, but in B.Tech, first try your experiments and then write as per your knowledge. B.Tech degree is considered better than BE, because chances of job are greater in B.Tech exam.

Hi Ravi,BE and B.Tech are almost similar the prime difference between them is in terms of study, B.Tech emphasizes more on practical application whereas BE programme concentrates more on theoretical knowledge that is applied to develop gadgets and equipments in the field of Science and technology. The job prospects of both the degrees are very similar. Both courses hold equal importance for higher education.
